For a Day Foundation is committed to creating emotionally therapeutic experiences for children battling cancer and other blood disorders. The program is known for providing the children and their families with a joyful and much needed diversion from the strain of chronic treatment. We use role models, make believe, and play therapy to give each child the opportunity to imagine and live out a fantasy while experiencing a moment of the childhood they all deserve. The For a Day Foundation is a national non-profit organization with chapters throughout the United States. The Atlanta chapter does all programming at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta hospitals in the AFLAC Cancer Center. We provide many different programs for the kids.
